About me

Hi, I'm Aditya.

I'm Aditya, a software engineer based in Bengaluru. I lead AI platform and governance work at Wayground (formerly Quizizz), where I build tools that help teachers and publishers create questions for their students.

The work

My work spans the question editor teachers use and the AI services running behind it. A lot of it comes down to a practical question: how do we know whether what the AI produces is good enough to use in a classroom? I work on evaluating those outputs and keeping the systems reliable as more people use them. I write about that work and the decisions behind it on my blog.

I joined Wayground in 2021. Before moving into AI, I worked on growth, search, and discovery, and led the engineering work on our Common Assessment Platform, which helps schools and districts understand how students are doing. Before that, I built software at SupplyCompass and Param.ai.

Something I'm building

I'm also building a free, interactive dynamic programming course. The idea is to help you work out a solution yourself: try a problem, make a prediction, and see how each step follows from the last. You can play with examples and watch the tables fill in as you go. I want the reasoning to make sense before you get to the code.
