Aditya Verma leads AI platform and governance work at Wayground (formerly Quizizz) in Bengaluru, India, writes about AI evaluation, and builds an interactive dynamic programming course. At Wayground he works on AI-powered question generation for teachers and publishers with depth of knowledge, and he built the AI-capable question editor behind it from scratch. He also runs the AI services and infrastructure underneath that work, which handle roughly a million requests a day.

Generated questions go to classrooms, so whether the output is correct is a product requirement rather than a research question. That is the subject he writes about on the blog, where the posts cover AI evaluation and the platform decisions behind it. Before the AI work he led Wayground's Common Assessment Platform from an exploratory concept to a standalone product in four months, giving school and district administrators a way to benchmark student performance.

He has been at Wayground since September 2021, and the earlier roles ran across growth, search, and platform work. On Search and Discovery he consolidated the activity types into one model, led adoption of the design system, drove the root cause analysis that cut severe bugs by 80 percent, and moved services onto a Kong gateway. On Growth he architected the analytics client, worked on the SEO and Lighthouse performance, and helped migrate a Nuxt 2 application to Vue 3. Earlier he was a core engineer at SupplyCompass, a B2B platform serving around a thousand customers, where he led the brand platform architecture in React and MobX and migrated the manufacturer platform off Angular, and before that a Software Development Engineer I at Param.ai in Hyderabad.

Outside that work he is building a free interactive dynamic programming course on this site. It is four guided-discovery lessons that derive the recurrence rather than present it, plus a catalogue of 78 problems, 32 of them worked end to end, with animated table walkthroughs that fill a cell at a time so the reader can see where each number came from. It is the same concern as the day job, in a smaller and more tractable form: showing the work, rather than asking anyone to take the answer on faith.
